Don't miss the hugely entertaining pumpkin-filled street parade on Festival Sunday. Featuring bagpipes, horses, Morris dancers, circus performers, sideshow attractions, plenty of fancy dress and pumpkin floats galore, this is the biggest celebration of all things pumpkin under the southern sun!

Create & enter a float in our Pumpkin Parade for your chance to win the ultimate prize. The best 'Pumpkin-themed' float will win $1,000 cash on the day.

Rules

Parade floats must be able to be transported along the designated route (Wide Bay Highway/Perrett Street intersection through to Burnett Highway/Llewellyn Street intersection) by a motorised vehicle, horseback, hand and/or foot.

If a float is motorised, it will be inspected by the parade stewards to ensure ability to safely travel the parade route.

All aspiring entrants must notify the GPF committee via email (secretary@goomeripumpkinfestival.com.au) of their intent to enter by 5:00pm on Friday 22 May 2025.

Right to parade entry & order of parade will be at the discretion of the Parade Co-ordinator.

Competition winners to be awarded by a panel consisting of three judges (made up of Guests of Honour, festival sponsors & GPF committee members).
